wulaia is on the left-wing side of this map. wulaia is on the isla de navarino and the beagle channel borders its north side. our first zodiac control from our cruise ship was to wulaia bay and the remains of the settlement there. the island has tall mountains and the white areas are glaciers!click towards map of beagle channel: this map also shows punta arenas, ushuaia and estancia harberton (puerto harberton. punta arenas is on the strait of magellan.tierra del fuego this island is with regard to the size of ireland.easter islandpuerto varas/puerto monttclick on the right where the + and – are to get a map which shows a larger square footage, you can actually get an idea of where these towns are in relation to temuco. we took a 5 hour bus ride south to the p varas/p montt area from temuco. p varas is about 20 miles north of pmontt on a overweight lake bordered on one side by two volcanos. we flew on to punta arenas (a four hour flight) from here. chile
